About the role

The risk officer position sits in the second line of defense within Worldline's Merchant Services division. You will advocate for a sound risk management culture, develop tools and procedures for operational risk management with a focus on ICT-risk and third-party risk, and collaborate with local management to design an effective control environment. The role involves coordinating risk assessments of new products, services, and significant changes, analyzing control effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements include 4+ years in a 2nd line risk management or control function, knowledge of COSO and ISO 31000, familiarity with DORA, incident and third-party risk management, and experience in regulated industries. A Bachelor’s Degree and industry certifications (CRMA, CRISC, CISA) are desirable. Responsibilities

  • Advocate for risk culture and stakeholder engagement within Sweden
  • Develop tools, processes and procedures for operational risk management with focus on ICT-risk and Third‑party risk
  • Provide risk expertise and collaborate with local management to design effective controls
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide risk and control assessments and ICT/Third‑party risk assessments
  • Analyze effectiveness of controls and suggest improvements
  • Develop and oversee compliance with operational risk policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a 2nd line risk management or control function
  • Excellent knowledge of enterprise and operational risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000)
  • Knowledge of DORA, incident- and third party risk management
  • Experience in regulated institutions/industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent)
  • Industry Risk Management Certifications (CRMA, CRISC, CISA) would be beneficial
  • Experience with analytics and automation tools (Power BI, Power Apps)
