Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and Django
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs
- Implement robust data models and database schemas
- Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
- Participate in code reviews and document technical work
- Monitor and maintain production systems for reliability and security
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python
- Strong proficiency in Django, or other Python API frameworks (e.g. FastAPI, Flask)
- Experience with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks
- Knowledge of API design principles and microservices architecture
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Solid understanding of version control with Git
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest)
- Understanding of security best practices and data protection
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities and proven track record of successful team collaboration
