Company description Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a company specialising in field data collection, founded in Europe in 2017. We collect data from places where automation is not possible. We measure features, take photographs, make videos, record speech and scan areas so that you have all the information you need to make better decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to take on new challenges. Project objective The project aims to help collect images of streets, key points of interest and public areas in EU countries. The project is carried out using cars fitted with removable 360-degree cameras, which the driver installs on the vehicle roof. The cameras photograph the area around the vehicle and save the images to computers inside it. The data will later be used to improve one of the world's most popular online maps. Data collectors are given specific routes on public streets and in public areas, particularly commercial areas and historic sites. Due to poor weather conditions, some areas are visited several times to achieve the best image quality. The project is expected to last 3–6 months and cover several different data collection areas. The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the area and traffic patterns well, and is highly responsible and reliable. The project schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. Due to weather-related interruptions, work may also take place at weekends. Requirements: - Valid driving licence - Good driving skills and a clean driving record - Good physical condition - Ability to install cameras on the vehicle roof (weighing 6 kg and 1 metre high) - A private, supervised parking space for the company vehicle is a plus - General knowledge of cars is a plus - Enjoys driving during normal working hours - Available for at least 3 months - Excellent communication and reporting skills - Technical proficiency (drivers use Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet and WhatsApp) - High sense of responsibility - Self-directed and detail-oriented
