General Practitioner

Etelä-Savon hyvinvointialue Eloisa seeks a general practitioner for Pieksämäen sotekeskus on a permanent civil servant position starting from 1 November 2026 or as agreed. We offer a diverse general practitioner role in a daytime appointment outpatient clinic, in sector work (neuvolat, kouluterveydenhuolto) and in urgent care. In Pieksämäki you may work in the urgent care during office hours 8:00–15:30 and, if you wish, also outside office hours on weekdays 15:30–19 and weekends 8:00–16:00. Research opportunities are good; radiography and basic laboratory tests are available. Your wishes are listened to and your duties can be flexibly adjusted. You will be part of a competent nursing staff and a multi-professional team with good collaboration between different professions. Weekly working time is 38 h 15 min. Administrative tasks are not included in the job. Part-time and hybrid work are negotiable. If desired you can do night duty at Mikkeli Hospital. Salary is top-level and according to the local collective agreement: Doctor / resident doctor, less than 3 years since licensure: 8047.09 €/month; Doctor / resident doctor / completed YEK degree or more than 3 years since licensure: 8571.23 €/month; Specialist / less than 10 years since specialization degree: 9776.58 €/month; Specialist / 10 years since specialization degree: 10188.22 €/month.
