We are seeking an experienced machinist for a permanent position in Oravaiset (Oravaisiin). You will work on diverse and demanding turning/milling tasks and participate in the production of large components. The role suits someone who enjoys independent work and has strong machining skills. The employer is a contract manufacturing specialist delivering high‑quality metal components and complete solutions for industrial needs. The position starts as a six‑month fixed‑term via Carrot, with a possibility of permanent employment at the client company. Working hours are 40 hours per week with a requirement for 2‑shift work. Start as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Your duties include versatile machining, primarily on larger pieces, reading and interpreting drawings, and programming/operating HEIDENHAIN controls. You should be precise, reliable and able to work independently, with a willingness to work with a partner or in a team. CAM experience is a plus.
