Building Inspector

The main content of the position includes tasks belonging to the building supervision authority under the Land Use and Building Act. The placement at the start of the employment is in the technical services. Salary and terms of employment are governed by the municipal technical staff collective agreement. A six-month trial period applies. The employer Kemijärven kaupungi is smoke-free. The qualifications require a degree in construction or a degree under the transitional provision of the Land Use and Building Act and sufficient experience in building design and execution tasks. Successful candidates must have good negotiation and communication skills and proficiency in Finnish. A medical certificate must be provided within 30 days of appointment.
