As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for monitoring the association's finances, applying for funding, and exploring new funding channels. You will plan, develop, and coordinate the association's orchestra and musical activities in collaboration with the board and partners such as Rantasalmi High School and Järvi-Saimaa Adult Education Center. You will also serve as the producer of the association's musical productions. The role requires presence in Rantasalmi and active participation in the daily operations of the Tornado music and theater hall. The work is often focused on afternoons and evenings. You will also handle part of the association's communication and marketing, making the activities visible locally and nationally to various stakeholders and partners. We expect from you -- Good knowledge of the cultural sector and association activities -- Strong communication and collaboration skills -- Good ICT and digital workplace skills -- Knowledge of grant applications and experience in preparing grant proposals -- Good financial skills -- Relevant education or equivalent work experience -- Organizational and coordination skills, proactive work attitude -- Willingness to work evenings and weekends You will also coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of the association's property, the Tornado hall, in cooperation with other actors. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Employment follows the terms of the arts and culture sector (TAKU). The salary is 2600 €/month. The selected candidate must provide an acceptable medical certificate and a criminal record extract in accordance with section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act before starting work. The employment contract includes a four (4) month probation period.
