
Delivery Coordinator
The Delivery Acceleration Support Coordinator supervises the workload of the Delivery Acceleration Support (DAST) in Gaza. Under the guidance of Deputy Special Representative and direct supervision of the Head of Gaza Sub Office, the incumbent secures timely coordination and collaboration with the Head of Programme, project teams, and relevant UNDP units to deliver operations-related services. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provide strategic and operational leadership and coordination to the DAST in Gaza, ensuring coherence across sub-units and acting as a bridge between Programme and Operations. 2. Lead planning and development of SOPs and workflows, ensuring effective operational oversight, sequencing, and prioritization of procurement and contracting actions. 3. Ensure organizational compliance and risk mitigation by implementing delegated authority and control frameworks (ICF, POPP, IDAM). 4. Provide strategic procurement and contracting support and advisory services (non-transactional), promoting value-for-money and risk-informed approaches. 5. Strategic adaptation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing to identify operational inefficiencies. Supervisory Responsibilities: The incumbent will supervise two DAS NPSA holders (NPSA6 and NPSA5). Required Skills and Experience: - Education: Advanced university degree (master's) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Economics, Project Management or related field. A bachelor's degree with two additional years of experience may be accepted. - Experience: Minimum 5 years (with master's) or 7 years (with bachelor's) in procurement management, Solid Waste Management, Contracts Administration, Construction Management, or Risk Management. - Experience in post-crisis and recovery settings and challenging environments is required. - Experience in large scale engineering projects (Hospitals, Bridges, Roads, Wastewater Treatment Plants) or Solid Waste Management (Sanitary Landfills, Recycling Plants) is desirable. - PMP certification and CIPS level 4 are highly advantageous. - Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera is required. - Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Requirements
- Advanced university degree (master's) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Economics, Project Management or related field (or Bachelor's with 2 additional years of experience)
- Minimum 5 years (with master's) or 7 years (with bachelor's) of relevant experience in procurement management, Solid Waste Management, Contracts Administration, Construction Management, or Risk Management
- Experience in post-crisis and recovery settings
- Experience working in challenging environments within crisis-affected countries
- Fluency in English
