As an early childhood education teacher, you will act as the pedagogical leader of your team. Work is carried out multidisciplinarily, involving children and families in the activities. In addition to the kindergarten director, regional special education teachers for early childhood education, language and culture teachers, family counselors, and a large group of early childhood education social workers, childcare workers, and group assistants develop operations with you and serve as your pedagogical support. Well-being, inclusion, and an interactive operational culture are particularly important to us. Our activities emphasize the strengthening of language awareness and children's emotional skills, physical education pedagogy, sensitivity, and the participation of children and guardians. We have effective tools for evaluating and developing the quality of early childhood education. Eligibility requirements are determined in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). Salary and other terms of employment are determined according to OVTES for qualified early childhood education teachers (A1-C1€/month + possible bonuses). The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period. In the absence of qualified applicants, we also consider students in the field and other applicants lacking formal qualifications. In such cases, the position may be filled on a fixed-term basis for a maximum of one year. Before accepting the position, the selected person must present a criminal record extract as intended in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993), based on the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002). Persons selected to work in care tasks for children under school age will undergo a tuberculosis screening (Communicable Diseases Act § 55).
