Your tasks As a maintenance engineer you act as the expert for locking and access control systems in Varha’s owned and rented properties. You are responsible for planning access control and lock systems and for the technical execution of door environments. Door environments include doors as well as mechanical and electronic locking solutions. Your work includes: - defining locking and access control systems in Varha properties - coordinating new projects and changes in collaboration with construction and project management - supervising implementations and ensuring technical solutions - expert duties across the entire Varsinais-Suomi welfare region. The workplace is part of Varha’s facilities services, and your workstation is mainly at Turku University Hospital, Kiinamyllynkatu 4-8, 20520 Turku. Previous experience with locking and access control systems helps. We also value experience with healthcare facilities and understanding of their specific requirements, including patient-safety related practices. Driving your own car is mandatory for the role. Eligibility requires a suitable university degree or a comparable examination at a polytechnic/institute level. Good Finnish language skills are required. Interested?
