We are seeking a shift supervisor / grill cook for our restaurant in Ruka. The role combines grill cook duties with shift supervisor responsibilities. You will oversee the grill operations, food preparation, ensuring quality and timely service, manage ingredients and orders, monitor inventory, and coordinate with other kitchen staff. You will also guide and support other employees as needed. - Grill cook daily tasks and food preparation
- Prepare dishes and ensure quality
- Oversee daily grill operations
- Ensure sufficient ingredients and products
- Monitor inventory and product rotation
- Place orders
- Keep workstation clean and organized
- Cooperate with other kitchen and restaurant staff
- supervise other employees when needed
- Cross-train into other restaurant tasks as interest/ability allows
Requirements
- Experience as cook or grill cook
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Organized and detail-oriented, especially with inventory and orders
- Calm under pressure and team player
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
- Experience in supervisory roles is a plus
