Join Lasinpuhaltajan day care as a Social Pedagogue in early childhood education. You will work within a group of five kids with two early childhood educators, taking responsibility for implementing pedagogical work with emphasis on child well‑being, participation and strengths. Core competencies include collaboration with families, supporting social growth, and timely access to early interventions. You will engage in observation, documentation and ongoing evaluation and development of activities. Your teammate is the day care’s early childhood educator group. The work location is Lasinpuhaltajan päiväkoti, Lindankuja 1, 02780 Espoo. Working hours are 38 h 15 min per week. This is a fixed-term position from 7 September 2026 to 31 May 2027. Qualifications: at least a University of Applied Sciences degree in social and health care with at least 60 credits in early childhood education and social pedagogy, or a social educator degree supplemented with the above studies (540/2018 §27). Good interpersonal and teamwork skills are required. The role requires planning, observation and a sensitive approach to high‑quality early childhood education. A criminal records extract is required under the Criminal Records Act; tuberculosis exposure risk must be considered for those working with under‑9s.
