Early childhood educator

We welcome you to join our growing team at Myllytonttu day care! We are seeking an early childhood educator for a group of young children under 3 years, to work alongside a child care assistant as a pair in the team. We recently moved to bright, new premises on Olavinlinnantie, next to Itäkeskus comprehensive school. Our aim is to create a safe, unhurried and inspiring growth environment where every child is seen and heard as their own person. Our operating model is child-centered pedagogy, warm interaction and attention to each child’s individual needs. We value open collaboration, flexibility and developing our practices together. We believe good pedagogy arises from joint action, discussion and mutual support. As part of this role you will plan, implement and assess early childhood pedagogy in line with Helsinki early childhood education and pre-primary education plans and the unit’s plan, and support each child’s learning as appropriate. You will lead and contribute as an active, constructive team member and pedagogical leader and strive to develop your own professional practice. We pay a competitive fixed monthly salary of 3298,06 EUR. 2000 EUR signing bonus is offered upon starting a permanent contract in 2026.
