Havukallion daycare in Vantaa seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our team for a permanent position starting 1 September 2026. Havukallion daycare is located in a nature-rich, forested residential area with good transport connections. Our learning environment emphasizes nature, multilingualism, and active use of the local surroundings to enrich daily activities. We operate five groups of children and recently renovated rooms, enabling staff to collaborate on engaging and modern learning spaces. An experienced early childhood education team, including a special education teacher and an innovation-focused educator, supports our pedagogical approach, along with the ProVaka framework. You will join a compassionate, professional team that supports each other and welcomes involvement with student teachers and professional development opportunities. We expect you to be sensitive, warm, and capable of working well in teams, with flexibility, development-mindedness, and a commitment to high-quality pedagogy and collaboration. Proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written) is required. We will consider applicants who are cooperative, open to development, and eager to contribute to children’s best interests.
