Primary location: Jyväskylä. We are now seeking a customer-oriented cook for Mestarin Herkun team. The position is permanent with 30 hours per week. Responsibilities include versatile food preparation and handling high-quality ingredients such as meat and fish. The role includes customer service, as you participate in product sales and maintain the sales counter. Shifts may also be on market stalls or in-store, such as stocking shelves. You’ll be supported by the whole team and the store manager Katja. Prior restaurant experience or training is advantageous, but a passion for food, curiosity, fearlessness, and willingness to learn will help you succeed. The Mestarin Herkku team will train you thoroughly. We operate with extensive opening hours, ensuring varied work hours and a flexible daily life. Salary is based on the retail industry collective agreement and depends on experience, 11.16–14.93 EUR/hour plus evening and weekend allowances.
