Funeral services worker

We are looking for a reliable, warm-hearted and proactive person with a good heart for our team. Working at a funeral office is more than handling documents; we are present in people’s most difficult moments and help them arrange beautiful and dignified farewells for their loved ones. We seek a new employee for a versatile role where no day is the same. Your work includes meeting clients and planning funeral arrangements, handling practical matters related to transports and burials, communicating with churches, authorities and partners, office work and document preparation, administering probate matters and other funeral office tasks. We hope you have experience in preparing probate documents and a good knowledge of inheritance law. Suitable educational background could be legal or financial administration. The job is truly diverse; in the same premises we also operate a florist and a restaurant, so the role may include other internal tasks as needed. We’re looking for a person who can handle that some days may include probate, other days funeral arrangements, and possibly assisting in another of our company’s tasks. You should be calm, tactful, precise, responsible, proactive and ready to learn; good computer skills, ability to work independently, flexibility and willingness to learn. Empathy, situational awareness and the ability to treat people with dignity are as important as professional skills.
