Terminal Worker

This vacancy is for ASR Europe Oy via Visio Henkilöstöratkaisut. Initially, the role covers traditional terminal tasks such as loading and unloading trucks and receiving shipments. As training and experience grow, there will be opportunities to unload and assemble air cargo units and participate in office tasks. The main teammate is the counterbalance forklift, but some duties are manual and physically demanding. The airport operates with high safety standards and processes are performed with care and precision, which creates pressure to perform. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and enjoy a varied role. Working hours initially include morning and evening shifts from 07:00–24:00, with occasional night shifts as the contract progresses and three-shift patterns may be required. The work is organized in three-week balancing cycles (112 hours); daily hours and weekly scheduling may vary. We value relevant experience in freight terminals and counterbalance forklift operation; IT skills at least at a basic level; fluent Finnish and good English; a clean background confirmed by a basic background check; and a valid B-driver’s license. The compensation follows the Aviation Services Collective Agreement: base monthly pay is 2,444.46 €/month plus experience- and training-based increases; shift allowances can raise monthly pay roughly to 2,600–3,500 €/month depending on shifts and prior experience.
