Technical Document Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and careful technical document controller for Componenta Manufacturing Oy’s Kalajoki production unit to contribute to a skilled team. The role suits a recent graduate in machinery and production engineering. You will join Finland’s leading contract-manufacturer in the machine workshop industry, where safety, quality and continuous improvement are core. You will be responsible for maintaining, managing and developing the technical documentation for production and design, working closely with production, quality and other stakeholders to ensure production data and documentation are up-to-date, clear and easily accessible. Key duties include drafting, updating and maintaining work instructions and other production documents; managing product data, item numbers and material data in company systems; preparing documents and guidelines required by production; coordinating change management and version control of technical documents; ensuring correctness and compliance of documentation; developing technical data and production processes in collaboration with different functions; contributing to quality management and continuous improvement activities. Requirements include suitable technical education (e.g., machinery and production engineering), prior experience in technical documentation or production is an asset but not mandatory, strong IT skills andability to adopt new systems, meticulous and systematic work approach, good collaboration and interaction skills, Finnish language skills with willingness to use English at work.
