We are looking for a Solution Engineer to help marine industry customers get more value from Cadmatic Wave. In this role, you will configure, customize, and develop Cadmatic Wave to support customer-specific requirements and business processes. You are based in Finland, Germany, or the Netherlands and can work remotely or in a hybrid model. The role includes regular visits to customer sites across Central Europe, giving you the opportunity to work closely with customers and support them in their day-to-day use of Cadmatic solutions. What you will work on: Support technical deployment of Cadmatic Wave in customer environments. Develop customer-specific enhancements that extend system capabilities beyond the core product. Configure and customize Cadmatic Wave to align with customer workflows and business goals. Collaborate with clients and solution consultants to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Act as the technical point of contact, ensuring clear communication and trusted partnerships. Oversee system rollouts and data migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity. Provide valuable feedback to R&D based on customer insights and project experiences. We wish you to bring: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related field. Solid experience in PLM implementation, consulting, or software configuration. Experience in software customization, aligning solutions to client-specific needs. Knowledge in requirements engineering, creating requirement specifications and writing user stories. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and database management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail. A customer-focused approach and an interest in solving practical business and technical challenges. Willingness to travel to customer sites when needed. We are especially glad if you have: Hands-on experience with PLM solutions, CONTACT PLM seen as advantage. Know-how of industry business processes related to product/project Experience with API integrations, cloud-based PLM solutions, and data migration methodologies. Exposure to software deployment, integration methodologies, and custom application development.
