Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a short-term part-time position at the Gunghästen day care in Turku. The role involves preparing and assisting with meal preparation and cleaning the kitchen. We focus on diverse, tasty, nutritious meals that consider seasonality and sustainability, and a willingness to bake. The successful candidate will work independently but with good teamwork, and should have education or studies in the field; experience in the kitchen is also considered. Hygiene certificate is required. The work is daytime with children present, and the candidate should be able to plan work efficiently, exercise good judgment, and maintain a positive attitude. The selected candidate will need to provide a police background check (6 § 2 mom. of the police records act) and tuberculosis examination as per the law on contagious diseases.
