Keittiöpaja is a work experience placement where participants prepare daily lunch for the pajayhteisö in a professional kitchen. The program includes training in specialty coffee preparation and customer service at the café Kuussa, and during the work trial participants will complete a hygienic certification. The placement features small-group coaching and physical activity. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00. Support is provided for arranging matters and for planning future steps such as job or study opportunities. The youth workshops are aimed at locally based unemployed jobseekers aged 18–28, with coaching in Finnish. Instructions must be understood in Finnish.
