Secondary School Teacher

We are seeking a full-time substitute teacher for history, social studies and religion at Harjuniitty School in Nokian kaupungissa for a temporary period from 26 October 2026 to 5 June 2027. The teaching load will be 26.67 teaching hours per week with a teaching obligation of 23 hours. The school, founded in 2015, serves roughly 930 students and offers general and specialized instruction (LUMA). The role includes teaching the aforementioned subjects to the upper grades and serving as homeroom teacher for 9th grade. Collaboration with other teachers and school aides is expected to ensure every student receives the required support. Prior experience in these subjects and a willingness to work in a team are required. Experience with digital learning environments is advantageous. We provide a mentoring arrangement, and you will join a team of teachers responsible for science subjects and school-wide thematic teams.
