Would you like to do meaningful work in sport? We are looking for you—a motivated and skilled sports professional who can strengthen our community with their expertise. We are seeking a head Fitness Instructor for Youth and Sport Services in Kirkkonummi, in a permanent position starting 1 October 2026 or as agreed. Your work aims to strengthen and promote residents’ wellbeing through exercise. We offer a versatile role in the fitness instruction team as a supervisor, responsible for planning and delivering guided exercise (including adaptive sport) and swimming/shore supervision, and coordinating the everyday running of the swimming hall. You will be responsible for the hall’s cash register reporting, use-time planning, activity statistics, and communications. There is also a possibility to cover guided exercise groups outside the hall as needed. You will have the chance to develop collaboration with clubs and partners operating in the hall and to participate in developing youth and sport services and leisure services, events, and holiday activities with experienced colleagues. You will work in a committed and developing workplace with good orientation and supervisor support. Qualifications: a suitable polytechnic degree or a previous vocational degree in the sports field or other suitable qualification; work experience and good command of both national languages are advantageous. Terms: Salary and terms are determined by the Collective Agreement for Local Government (KVTES); the job’s grade salary is 3,259.99 euros per month. Working hours are 38 hours 15 minutes per week, mainly day work with occasional evening and weekend work around events. Start date 1 October 2026 or as agreed. The successful candidate must provide a police background check (act on the background of working with children 504/2002) and there is a six-month probation. Youth and Sports Services is part of Kirkkonummi Town’s Leisure Services.
