Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Tester with extensive experience in Databricks, Python, and Pyspark to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of data through rigorous testing processes, data conversion, migration, and transformation activities. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and a passion for data quality validation.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive data testing strategies to validate data quality and integrity.
Utilize Databricks for data processing and testing, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Implement data conversion and migration processes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Document testing processes, results, and findings, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Continuously improve testing methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data testing and quality assurance.
Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience with Databricks for data processing and testing.
Strong proficiency in Python and Pyspark for data manipulation and analysis.
Hands on experience in data testing, validation, and quality assurance.
Solid understanding of data conversion, migration, and transformation processes.
Experience with data profiling and analysis techniques.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Azure cloud services and data solutions.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 7 years of experience in data testing and quality assurance.
Relevant certifications in data testing or quality assurance are a plus.
