Practical Nurse

We are seeking a practical nurse for a fixed-term position at Hoivakoti Joutsenon Suvanto in Lappeenranta. The facility provides round-the-clock care for elderly and memory-impaired residents, housing 16 residents. You will support residents’ functioning, wellbeing and independence, provide individualized high-quality care, participate in medication administration, encourage residents to engage in activities, and contribute to care planning and documentation, working together with the team to create a safe, homely daily life. Employment details: until the end of 2026, with potential extension. The role is a 3-shift position and start as soon as possible. Salary follows the private social services sector collective agreement. Base pay for a practical nurse depends on experience and falls within the pay grade G20C: 2493.06–2719.93 €/month (from 1 Sep 2026). An additional unit-based allowance of 100 €/month is paid to employees who have medication licenses. Requirements: nursing qualification, current medication licenses, hygieniapass, and vaccination protection under infectious disease legislation; basic Finnish language skills (B1) are required and prior experience with the elderly is advantageous.
