Hairdressing and Beauty Teacher

Students completing the vocational qualification in hair and beauty care include both recent comprehensive-school graduates and people already working. Your workplace is in Nivala, but teaching may also be provided at other locations of the education consortium when necessary. Formal eligibility requirements are determined in accordance with section 13 of Decree 986/1998. If no formally qualified applicants are available, an unqualified person may also be appointed to the fixed-term position. We require: - a suitable qualification - broad expertise in beauty-care work - varied practical work experience - the ability to engage with diverse learners - good and positive interpersonal skills and an encouraging, developmental approach to work - a driving licence and the possibility of using your own car when necessary Knowledge of local and industry business activity and teaching experience are considered advantages. Before taking up the position, the selected candidate must provide a criminal-record extract under Act 504/2002 and a medical certificate (T-certificate) under the Act on Municipal Officeholders 304/2003. The probationary period is six months.
