Would you like to spend the winter amid the magical atmosphere of Lapland, among international guests and as part of a top team? Roka Street Bistro is a 25-seat corner restaurant in the heart of Rovaniemi. The restaurant combines a relaxed atmosphere, high-quality ingredients and uncompromising work ethic. The kitchen draws on influences from America, Italy and Meänmaa, resulting in bold street-food with Bistro vibes, quality drinks and warm service that stays in guests’ memories. Winter in Rovaniemi is the busiest and most exciting time in the restaurant industry. The city fills with travellers from around the world, the northern lights light up the evenings and working days are full of encounters with customers from different cultures. Seasonal work in Lapland offers a valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, meeting new people and enjoying superb winter experiences. We are looking for a waiter for a fixed-term contract for the winter season. Work starts in early November and lasts at least until the end of March. Shifts include morning, midday and evening; working hours are fully hourly at 112.5 hours / 3 weeks. The pay for the role is at least according to MARAVA TES 13.70–15.04 €/h + extra. The pace during the season is fast – guests are often in a queue every day. Therefore we seek a professional who enjoys busy service, keeps a cool head under pressure and understands that a successful restaurant experience is the result of teamwork. You will receive thorough onboarding, support from experienced colleagues and the opportunity to develop professionally in a high-quality, international restaurant environment. We hope you have: - Previous experience in table service in an à la carte restaurant - Hygiene pass and alcohol service license - Customer-oriented service attitude and a desire to create an excellent dining experience for every guest - Ability to work efficiently in busy periods and to collaborate effectively with colleagues Interested?
