This position is a fixed-term maternity leave replacement for the Kilteri Daycare in Vantaa, Finland. The job is full-time with three shifts per week (38 h 15 min per week). The daycare operates around the clock and offers a diverse pedagogical program including small-group pedagogy, child participation, and positive pedagogy. The team consists of 32 early childhood education staff in a relaxed, positive work environment where mutual respect and shared responsibility are valued. The daycare is located in Myyrmäki, Vantaa, with modern facilities and a large multi-level outdoor area for outdoor pedagogy. Responsibilities include providing care for children in an overnight setting, supporting language and ICT use in teaching, music, art, and physical activity, and engaging in everyday routines with the children. The candidate should have the qualification of Lastenhoitaja (early childhood education) and strong Finnish language skills; prior experience with shift work is a plus.
