We are seeking a garden department manager for Hankkija in Eura. The role involves overseeing the garden department and participating in general store activities. Responsibilities include coordinating daily store operations, receiving goods, pricing, display, and warehouse management; handling pre-orders of plants and maintaining product data in systems; managing store social media marketing and contributing to content planning and publishing; collaborating with educational institutions and training seasonal staff. The position requires solid IT skills and proficiency in Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook). Outside the gardening season you will participate in other product categories’ sales and store life. You will develop product range knowledge and create successful customer experiences. You will work with a friendly and motivated team that values good work ethic and employee well-being. The job is permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours/week. Start date negotiable, no later than October. We offer a competitive salary of approximately 2200–3000€ depending on experience. The employment contract follows the store’s collective agreement. Barona participates in the recruitment process, but employment will be with Hankkijan.”
