Join Avustajasi Validia Oy in shaping the story of its clients. We are seeking personal assistants for the Askola area. This role involves home or out-of-home support for individuals who cannot manage certain activities due to illness or disability. The work may include helping with hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling leisure activities. Sometimes the most important task is to be a conversational companion and a supportive presence. The aim is to support living at home for as long as possible and to enable an active and meaningful everyday life while respecting the client’s autonomy. The job offers flexibility with shifts scheduled jointly with the client. You will work independently and follow agreed practices. An open attitude and your own personality help you progress. The role suits students and retirees seeking additional income due to its flexible hours. We do not require formal education or prior experience, though these are considered assets. We offer an hourly wage under the Private Social Services TES (wage class G16A), flexible working hours, opportunities to learn more about disability work and care, orientation based on your competence, supportive colleagues, and possibilities for further studies to work in other social and health care roles. Requirements include genuine interest in caregiving, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and sufficient Finnish language skills; other languages are a plus. Vaccination protection as per Infectious Diseases Act sections 48 and 55, and a background check as required by the Social and Health Care Inspectorate law.
