Cashier

We are looking for a Cashier, Customer Service and Café Supervisor for our Hyvinkää department store in a permanent, full-time role. You will oversee the cashier and customer service point operations, cashier routines and the store’s cash handling. You will also handle complaints and returns correctly and orient new employees. In café operations you will take overall responsibility for Biltema Café’s operations and ensure daily smooth functioning, including training, onboarding and skill verification for café staff. You will be part of the store’s management team and, on your shift, take responsibility for the entire store’s operations while engaging with customers. We expect you to have: commercial training or experience in retail or daily consumer goods; strong interpersonal skills and interest/experience in supervisory roles; any responsibility-focused experience is a plus; ability to take responsibility and work independently; positive, proactive work attitude and flexibility; willingness to work all store shifts including morning, evening and weekend shifts; Finnish plus English and Swedish language skills are an advantage. The position is permanent and full-time, with an average of 37.5 hours per week. Start date by agreement. Salary by agreement, with starting salary at least €2,500 per month. Final salary will be determined by your education and previous work experience and skills. Evening and weekend allowances per the store collective agreement apply to worked hours. Are you excited?
