We are seeking a seasoned Integration Coordinator for a permanent position in Lohja from 14 September 2026. Your role is to contribute to successful integration and an active community by developing, coordinating, and aligning integration services within the municipality's immigrant services. You will work closely with the Lohja–Karkkila employment services and be organizationally placed within the employment services unit. The job combines development of integration work, coordination, networking, and hands-on client work. You will act as an expert in integration work, assemble networks, build collaboration, and promote smooth integration of immigrants in cooperation with authorities, service providers, and third-sector actors. Your duties include planning, developing, monitoring, and evaluating integration services, and developing operating models and collaboration structures. A significant portion of the work involves direct client contact, guiding immigrants to appropriate services, and advising on integration-related situations. You will also monitor funding and development opportunities linked to integration work, prepare grant and project applications, and present and report on integration work at events, in collaboration networks, and stakeholder meetings. Success requires excellent Finnish language skills, as the work includes authority governance, document drafting, and broad cooperation with various actors. If needed, interpretation services are used. English language skills are an advantage. The selected candidate should be able to take on the role quickly and work independently. The position emphasizes customer-oriented work, strong guidance, advisory, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply integration legislation and utilize knowledge of social security and municipal operating environment. Experience in municipal integration tasks and collaboration with various authorities and stakeholders is valued. Experience in developing services, operating models, and service processes is also valued, as is the ability to prepare project applications and act as a presenter in collaboration networks and meetings. Applicants are asked to describe their competence, experience, and evidence in relation to the requirements and desired qualifications as concretely as possible to ensure fair evaluation in the recruitment process. Sufficient experience in immigrant and/or refugee work is required. The base salary is 3616.52 EUR/month, with a possible experience allowance of up to 8% depending on qualifications. The position includes a six-month probation period. The selected must provide a health certificate from Keski-Uudenmaan Työterveys Oy Lohja unit within one month of starting. Requirements
