About the role

**Are you an expert in social and customer service work? Do you want to do people-oriented and meaningful work in a diverse work community?** **We are now looking for a self-directed and service-minded instructor for our reception centre in Muurola for a permanent employment contract.** Babando is a domestic nationwide social and health care operator founded in 2017, providing first-class reception centre services for adults, young people, and families seeking and receiving asylum and temporary protection. Our current units are located in Kainuu and Rovaniemi. Over 700 people are served by our services daily. **Instructor's Job Description** As a reception centre instructor, you will work at the customer interface ensuring the high-quality organization of reception services. As an instructor, you play a key role especially in the registration, accommodation, and general guidance and counseling of customers arriving at the reception centre. You provide the necessary support to asylum seekers and those receiving temporary protection and, if necessary, guide them to the professionals working at the reception centre. Additionally, you maintain contact with authorities and promote customers' adaptation to Finnish society. The instructor's work is two-shift work every day of the week. **What do we require from a reception centre instructor?** We require a suitable degree in social, health, education, sports, teaching, culture, or social sciences. Previous experience in reception centre work, customer service, or working in a multicultural and multi-professional work community is considered an advantage. In addition to good proficiency in Finnish and English, we value diverse language skills. Experience working with interpreters is also an advantage. **You may be the person we are looking for** if you find reception centre work meaningful and have a genuine desire to influence our customers' successful customer experience and pre-integration. Above all, we are looking for a socially skilled, energetic, and self-directed instructor who dares to take control of the situation and develop insightful solutions in rapidly changing conditions.
