We are seeking a temporary full-time Family Partner to work within the ESR+ Well-Being Parenting project in the Tunturi-Lappi area (Enontekiö, Kittilä, Kolari, Muonio). The role involves providing hands-on companionship services to vulnerable families and engaging in community activities such as the Grandma and Grandpa meeting place activities, operating on a local level in municipalities. The Family Partner collaborates closely with part-time staff at meeting places and volunteers. The job is full-time and entails travel within the mentioned communities; it may include evening and weekend work. The Family Partner will be supported by a Supervising Family Partner, regional supervisor, and the head of Kotimaantyö development. Requirements include an AMK-level degree in social- and health- care; experience in early support for families and child protection is preferred. A willingness to lead one’s own work independently is essential. Driver's license and own car are required; car use is reimbursed by mileage. A police background check for working with children is required before starting. We offer a responsible, varied and rewarding role in project work with possibilities to work partly remotely. We provide supervision and access to comprehensive occupational health services; training environments are supported by SOS-Lapsikylä’s Kyläkoulu digital learning environment and supervisor support. The organization follows the Collective Agreement for social sector organizations; salary is roughly 2546.91–2903.48 EUR per month depending on experience (TES for social-sector organizations, VR4).
