About the role

The Early Childhood Social Worker will work as a member of an multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities. You will be responsible for cooperation with families and for promoting belonging and participation in the community together with other professionals. You will contribute to developing services and new practices that support children and families’ well-being and social inclusion. You will support the well-being of children and provide guidance to children, families and guardians. The position is open at YES Daycare in Vantaa. YES Daycare is multilingual and bilingual (English and Finnish) and located on Hagelstamintie in Vantaa. The unit has 8 groups, 2 of which are preschools; the social work tasks target the 3–5-year-old group this season. We seek candidates with a positive, professional approach that highlights children’s strengths. You should be flexible, positive and enjoy teamwork. Listen to the child with empathy and be genuinely present in daily activities, recognizing the child as an individual and as part of the group.
