About the Role We are seeking an experienced BESS Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across multiple sites in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing renewable energy sector, working on innovative energy storage projects that play a critical role in the transition to a sustainable energy future. Key Responsibilities Produce and review electrical designs for utility-scale BESS projects. Carry out electrical simulations and system studies. Develop and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Support project delivery from concept through to commissioning. Collaborate with internal engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders. Participate in technical discussions with clients and provide engineering expertise throughout project lifecycles. Ensure designs comply with relevant UK standards and industry regulations. Provide technical support across multiple project sites as required.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within the renewable energy, power generation, transmission & distribution, or energy storage sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and power systems.
- Experience performing electrical calculations, simulations, and technical studies.
- Proficiency in producing and reviewing electrical drawings and documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK.
