We are seeking a customer-service oriented foreman for Volvo Truck Center Vantaa's workshop. The role involves ensuring safe, smooth daily workshop operations, guiding work progress, prioritising resources, and supporting the team to succeed in changing situations. You will take responsibility for quality, productivity and cycle time, and drive development forward together with service, parts and other stakeholders. You are present in the work, remove obstacles, and ensure clear communication between the team, customers and partners. The job includes shift work from 7:00 to 23:00 and occasional Saturday shifts. As a supervisor you will regularly conduct development discussions and maintain your team’s wellbeing by taking part in welfare and health discussions. You will develop your team’s professional skills by giving constructive feedback and supporting a feedback culture. You will ensure information sharing within the team and that group meetings occur regularly. Your main task is to help your team succeed in their work and reach set objectives. You will be part of well-functioning processes and stand among capable colleagues. We require experience with heavy equipment, strong organisational and pressure-resilience abilities, the ability to manage many things simultaneously and make quick decisions. We expect fluent Finnish, both spoken and written. We work with international customers, so knowledge of other languages is valued. You will keep everyone informed and actively share information with the workshop's various stakeholders. You will report to the maintenance manager.
