About the role
The University of Helsinki's Faculty of Medicine invites applications for the positions of Associate Professor and Professor in pathology, with Swedish as the language of instruction. The appointee will be responsible for undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education in pathology, and will teach in the Degree Programme in Medicine, including practical small group and lecture-based teaching. Responsibilities
- Provide undergraduate and postgraduate education in pathology and participate in education of the Degree Programme in Medicine, including practical small group and lecture-based teaching.
- Carry out and supervise scientific research and follow developments in the field.
- Engage in international cooperation and public engagement in pathology.
- Possible secondary position with HUS Helsinki University Hospital.
- Support supervision of doctoral theses where applicable.
