Stage Operator

We are seeking a skilled and cooperative stage operator to join our theatre's stage technology team. As a stage operator you will be responsible for driving and programming theatre technical equipment such as hoists, the revolving stage, and lifting platforms. You will form part of the core crew that makes it possible for audiences to enjoy a spectacular and technically successful theatre experience. Your duties include setting up and dismantling scenery and structures, as well as performing changes during performances. You will participate in rigging design and lifting work, and be responsible for storage and workspace cleanliness. The role combines technical precision with physical work – the stage operator works both at the computer and among the scenery, contributing actively to building and taking down the stage. We value initiative, thoroughness and accountability, as well as good teamwork and the ability to function as part of the production team under varying performance conditions. The position is covered by the Theatre Industry collective agreement, and the annual working hours average 38.25 hours per week in accordance with the technical show duties of the collective agreement. Salary ranges from 2600–3000 € per month depending on experience.
