We are working with a relatively new (and wildly successful) systematic hedge fund, launched by the ex-partners of a tier-1 player. Joining this firm presents the opportunity to shape the trajectory of their trading technology, within a close-knit highly collaborative team. You’ll be collaborating closely with researchers, assist in the integration of new datasets, and take ownership of enhancing their reference data systems. The role involves designing and implementing high-performance, scalable data solutions using Python and SQL, with a focus on financial instruments and market data. The team values excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong STEM background. The position is based in New York with 4 days in the office. Salary ranges from $300,000 to $500,000 plus bonus, with potential for higher TC for top candidates.
