Activity Guide

Kilpissafarit is seeking an activity guide with the necessary qualifications and permits to transport customers by bus. Driver qualifications and permits should be valid at least for the upcoming winter season. We offer the opportunity to combine work with unique experiences and scenery in Lapland. The transportation component of the work is minimal. Transport is carried out with a 16-20 seat bus and an 8-seat car from accommodations to excursion destinations and activities. The work mainly involves acting as a tour guide during trips such as snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing, and Northern Lights tours. Guide duties include preparing, executing, and dismantling trips, as well as other tasks related to excursions and rental operations. The full-time position begins in early December and lasts at least until the end of March. We are primarily looking for entrepreneurs, but employment is also possible. Requirements for applicants: - At least a D driver's license and valid professional qualifications - Enthusiasm and motivation - Initiative, teamwork skills, and customer service orientation - Ability to adapt to changing tasks, conditions, and working hours - Fluent Finnish and English skills; additional languages are an advantage Preferred qualifications: - Previous experience as a driver - Experience as an activity guide - Eagerness to learn new things - Valid first aid certificate Kilpissafarit offers employees: - €19 per hour for salaried work or €26 per hour plus VAT as an entrepreneur - Friendly colleagues and a unique working environment - Varied job responsibilities - Affordable accommodation relative to local prices - Opportunity to enjoy Finland’s longest winter and scenic mountain views.
