Customer Service Representative

FNE-Finland Oy is a Finnish backbone network operator whose nationwide fiber-optic backbone network reaches all major Finnish cities and economic areas. Our customers are operators, data centers, companies and communities from both home and abroad. The company was founded in 2000, turnover in the 2025 financial year was 5.3 MEur, the company employs five people and the place of business is Vantaa. FNE-Finland Oy is now looking for a specialist in customer service and back office tasks for a permanent part-time or full-time employment relationship. About the task In the role, you will work in a key support function that combines customer service, order and quotation processing and administrative tasks. The work includes processing requests for quotations and making availability inquiries as well as checking and accounting for purchase invoices. In addition, the task includes archiving contracts and maintaining customer information in systems as well as other daily office tasks. The work is demanding in terms of accuracy, but at the same time varied. The task offers the opportunity to also participate in the management of order processes, the creation of work orders and the coordination and monitoring of deliveries. Depending on interest and expertise, the role can be expanded to other tasks. The new employee will receive comprehensive induction in the task from experienced colleagues, and will be able to develop in practical tasks in the telecommunications field as part of a small expert organization. The person we are looking for The person who succeeds in the task has a careful and systematic way of working and a desire to learn new things. A basic understanding of telecommunications technology and data transfer helps in the task, but the most important thing is the ability to absorb new things and interest in the field. The applicant is expected to have fluent MS Office skills and good general IT skills, as various systems and data are handled daily. The role requires accuracy especially in processing invoices and entering data and the ability to handle routine tasks carefully. In customer service situations, good interaction skills and a service-minded attitude are needed. A proactive and solution-oriented way of working helps to succeed in the task. Finnish language must be excellent, and in addition, at least satisfactory English language skills are needed in the task. Previous experience in teleoperator services, financial administration tasks or customer service is considered an advantage. Also an understanding of supply chains or project deliveries and broader knowledge of Swedish or English support success in the task.
