Welder

We are looking for an experienced welder for a permanent position in Oravainen. The job involves working mainly with black iron and taking part in the fabrication of demanding and large structures. The role suits someone who enjoys independent work and has strong welding skills. Our client operates as a contract manufacturer and delivers high‑quality metal components and complete solutions for industrial needs. The position starts as a 6‑month fixed-term assignment through Carrot, after which there is a possibility of permanent employment with the client. Working hours are 40 hours per week and readiness for two‑shift work is expected. The work will begin as soon as a suitable person is found. Tasks include MIG/MAG and TIG welding primarily on black iron, responsible for preparing and welding large, demanding structures according to drawings. The job requires the ability to read technical drawings independently and carry out the work from start to finish. You are precise, thorough, and take responsibility for your work. You can work independently, with a colleague, or as part of a supportive team. We value initiative and genuine interest in the work. Requirements: MIG/MAG and TIG welding skills, excellent reading of drawings, several years of welding experience, good motivation and ability to work independently, Finnish language skills.
