Practical Nurse

We are seeking a bilingual practical nurse to join Helsinki Home Care Töölö 2 team. Töölö 2 is a bilingual home care team where you will work with both Finnish- and Swedish-speaking clients. The work language is Finnish and Swedish, with reporting and documentation done in Finnish. Our office is in a well-connected area, within a 10-minute walk from Kamppi metro. We operate in central Helsinki; clients live in Töölö, Kamppi, Ruoholahti, Eira and Kruunuha, offering diverse assignments in a central location. We have a supportive team where collaboration is valued and new colleagues are warmly welcomed. The job involves helping clients live as independently and well as possible in their own homes, building trusting care relationships. The work is mobile, varied and independent, with days starting and ending at the work point. Travel to clients is by walking, cycling, car or public transport. Shifts run every day from 7:00 to 21:30 (morning and evening shifts). You will support clients’ functioning and rehabilitation, participate in daily care and basic nursing, perform medication and wound care, act as a primary nurse for your clients, Dokument in the Apotti client record system, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and relatives. Requirements: licensed practical nurse; ability to work mornings and evenings (7–21:30) including weekends; work independently and responsibly in clients’ homes; be able to work in Finnish and Swedish with clients and document in Finnish; strong interpersonal skills and being a confident part of the team; commitment to home care and long-term development. Desirable: home care experience; Apotti system knowledge.
