Salesperson

We are recruiting for a new Puuilo store in Kurikka and are looking for full-time and part-time salespeople. Your daily tasks include customer service, cash register and information desk duties, shelf stocking and product displays, and a variety of customer service activities such as online order picking, cutting carpet and measuring goods, and assisting customers with product questions. The store is cleaned by staff; there is a weekly cleaning day and daily upkeep of common areas. Puuilo culture is fast-paced with radio chatter; you will perform all sales tasks and enjoy a varied and dynamic workday. You may occasionally operate a forklift to help customers load items into their cars or to run cleaning equipment in the store. What we expect from you: self-driven and energetic attitude, ability to cope with pressure as the work is sometimes hectic, reasonably good physical condition as the work is physically demanding with up to about 15,000 steps per day, interest in Puuilo products and a willingness to tinker, enjoy interacting with people and adapt to various situations, retail experience is an advantage but not required, availability between 6–20 on weekdays and weekends, and we support a smoke-free Finland by 2030.
