We are now looking for an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Pilke Taikakuu in Helsinki. The work starts as soon as possible. Pilke Taikakuu is a small, homelike daycare centre with a music focus in the green Kivikko district of Helsinki. Taikakuu is located in Kivikko, Helsinki, with good transport connections and close to Ring Road I. It provides high-quality, child-centred early childhood education in a cosy, warm daycare centre for children aged 9 months to 6 years. We are a Finnish-speaking daycare, so fluent Finnish is required of the teacher. What are Taikakuu's days made of? Songs, instruments, play and rhymes. The building blocks of our music education are songs, musical games, rhymes, playing instruments, movement and listening to music. Our music-focused daycare aims to offer children musical experiences, skills and abilities. We also aim to inspire them to take up a lasting musical hobby. Would you like your work to influence the lives and early years of many children? As an Early Childhood Education Teacher, you will support and promote children's growth, development and learning. You will understand the contents of early childhood education plans and know how to put them into practice. You will plan, assess and develop the group's pedagogical activities and contribute to ensuring high-quality pedagogy at your unit. You have a strong pedagogical approach, a positive and active attitude, good interaction skills and the ability to engage genuinely with children.
