Process Operator

We are seeking a Process Operator to join our team in a new startup factory. This is a great opportunity to get involved from the start and influence the plant's operation from its very first steps. As a Process Operator you will be responsible for the preprocessing and pyrolysis process operation and supervision. Your main duties include operating, maintaining and performing maintenance tasks to high quality and safety standards; working proactively to achieve production targets and continuously developing processes and work practices; continuously improving safety and reporting safety deviations; issuing work permits in production; taking, analysing and reporting process samples; supporting material flow management and reporting; and other tasks such as maintaining cleanliness. Reports to Production Master Jukka Kokkonen. Employment: permanent, full-time. Salary: in accordance with the Chemical Industry collective agreement; starting monthly salary TAM37/TVL3; fixed shift allowance and a personal bonus after 6 months. Working hours: day shift 8-16 before commercial operations start and then a continuous 3-shift system with 12-hour shifts; day shifts 7-19 and night shifts 19-07; cycle 2 days, 2 nights, 6 days off. Start date: as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Location: Kilpilahdentie 200, 06850 Kulloo. Requirements: experience in process or automation, ability to work in a factory environment and in continuous 3-shift work, commitment to continuous improvement and safety. Strong communication skills; ability to share knowledge. Proficiency with MS Office and automation systems; good Finnish and English are an advantage. We require non-smoking and a clean drug test.
