Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are now looking for an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Pilke Lilja, a sports-focused daycare centre in Turku’s Länsikeskus. The work begins in January 2027 by agreement. Lilja, located in Turku’s Länsikeskus, has 60 daycare places in a homely environment. Lilja is a sports-focused daycare centre whose aim is to help children discover the joy of exercise and an active lifestyle in a child-centred way. The focus on physical activity is part of everyday life through outings, daily outdoor play, weekly music sessions involving movement and guided exercise activities. We explore with curiosity, dream boldly, find the small joys of everyday life, practise new skills together and consider questions that interest the children. As an Early Childhood Education Teacher, you support and promote children’s growth, development and learning. You understand the contents of early childhood education plans and can put them into practice. You plan, evaluate and develop the group’s pedagogical activities and contribute to high-quality pedagogy in your unit. You have a strong pedagogical approach, a positive and proactive attitude, good interaction skills and the ability to engage with children sincerely.
