**Come do meaningful work with us in the field of child welfare!** We are now looking for a **night instructor** to join our work community in **Kankaantaka**, Nokia! Sospro Kankaantaka is a facility in Nokia providing 24-hour foster care for child welfare. Kankaantaka consists of four 7-place special-level residential units: Kankaantaka 1, Kankaantaka 2, Kankaantaka 3, and Kankaantaka 4. We also have an incentive bonus system that provides an additional bonus based on success to be used for the work group's well-being and recreation. **Your duties as an instructor are to:** - Act as a reliable instructor and an adult responsible for upbringing for the youth. - Bring your own expertise to the entire work group from the perspective of your educational background. - Cooperate with the youth's parents, school, and other networks. - Actively participate in the reporting, evaluation, and development work of your team's care quality. The employment contract is valid until further notice with a 6-month probationary period. The work is three-shift work, but the emphasis is on night shifts. Shifts are performed in series: one long shift of 12h or an evening shift of 8h, followed by night shifts from 20:45-08:45 or 20:15-08:15. **We expect from you:** You will succeed best in the position if you have an active, participatory, and customer-oriented approach to work, good interaction and teamwork skills, the ability to learn and develop your own work, and an enthusiastic attitude toward child welfare work. Our work is based on a strength-based, rehabilitative, and feedback-aware approach, noticing the good, and a PACE attitude. We require the selected instructor to have at least a basic degree in social and health care or education (e.g., practical nurse). **We value work experience in foster care.** The selected person must present a criminal record extract as required by the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (505/2002). We require a hygiene passport, a B-driving license, and a social and health care professional card.
