Early Childhood Education Teacher

This is a temporary teaching position at Illenpihan unit within the City of Vantaa’s Early Childhood Education and Learning Directorate. The role involves implementing a sensitive and safe daily routine where the child is at the center of activities. The successful candidate will read the needs of children and the team and be ready to utilize various operating models. The team is strong, motivated, and highly committed. The unit operates with two teachers and one child care worker. The substitute teacher will join the team with potential to become permanent later. The unit belongs to Illenpihan Early Childhood Unit, together with Illenpuisto day care. The workplace culture emphasizes development, initiative, and positive atmosphere. The employee commits to acting according to the model principles with the rest of the unit staff. Proficiency in Finnish language (written and spoken) is required. The Illenpihan unit is located in Kartanonkallio area with good transport links in a park-like setting.
